Susan Scott Hennings, LMFTSusan is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a private practice in San Jose, California. Since 1992, she has helped individuals and couples improve their relationships and enhance their communication skills in a collaborative and supportive environment. Susan is also an Associate with The Couples Institute in Menlo Park, where, since 1994, she has done advanced training in couples therapy with Dr. Ellyn Bader and Dr. Peter Pearson. She is on the Adjunct Faculty at Santa Clara University, and teaches in the Counseling Psychology Masters program for future Marriage and Family Therapists. Susan's clients include individuals and couples with a broad range of concerns and from diverse ethnic backgrounds. Her special interests include clients who face the challenge of a divorce or becoming a blended family, those seeking life balance, clients with parenting concerns, clients preparing for marriage, those struggling with the painful aftermath of an affair, and those with sexual concerns. A long time sex educator and popular presenter, Susan leads workshops on intimacy and sexuality. |
